Name the fabric
A big thank you to everyone who submitted an entry for the competition, there was quite a range of interesting and fascinating suggestions.
From 77 suggestions I narrowed it down to my 10 favourites, and then from there to the two which really grabbed me. The hardest decision was then to choose just one of those to be the new name for the fabric.
Congratulations to Brenda B from Tampa, FL, USA who wins the fabric with the name of Purpleberry Spludge.
Second place, and a 13x18 piece of the fabric, goes to Sally M from Buckinghamshire UK, with the suggestion of Sparkling Celestial Torment.
Honourable Mention and a skein of thread to:
Lynn T (MO, USA) for Purple Nurple
Tina W (CA, USA) for Stellar Night
Susan D (CA, USA) for Sparkling Cosmos
Becky S (CA, USA) for Jacaranda
Maureen W (ON, Canada) for Sparkling Medieval Daze
Scully (UK) for Enchantica & Sparkling Purplexed
Josie (ON, Canada) for Purple Nurple (yes, two people sugggested this)
Eva T (Indonesia) for Enigma
Finally, the new Purpleberry Spludge will be available to order in the full range of fabrics that I stock, regular, opal (Sparkling PS) and metallic (Frosted PS), lugana and linen. If you want to buy and cannot find the option you want then contact me and let me know.
